Director: Savanna Robinson
"I am so thrilled to be the new Golden Debs Director and Dance 1-4 Teacher! I am beyond grateful for this wonderful opportunity and I can't wait to start the year off with the 2024-2025 Golden Debs! Once a Deb, always a Deb!"
Savanna found her passion for dance at the age of three. She danced for the XD2 company for 11 years. Savanna attended Sachse High School and became the captain of the JV Lariats Drill her freshman year and captain of the Sachse Swingsters her Senior year.
Savanna joined American Dance/Drill team after graduating in 2013, instructing Summer Dance Camps and judging at Competitions. She continued her education at Kilgore College and became a member of the 74th Line of the World Famous Kilgore College Rangerettes from 2013-2015.
After Kilgore College, Savanna transferred to Stephen F Austin State University and performed on the SFA Dance team from 2015-2017. Savanna graduated from Stephen F Austin in 2018, Magna Cum Laude, with a Bachelors in Dance Education and a minor in Family/Child Development.
In order to continue sharing her love and passion for dance, she became a dance instructor and company choreographer at Rockwall Dance Academy. In addition, she worked at Rowlett high school for 3 years teaching Dance 1-4 and coached the Rhythmettes Drill Team.

Aside from dance, Savanna is happily married to Troy Robinson and they love spending time with their 2 Australian Sheppards Harley and Halo!
Assistant Director: Taylor Givens
Taylor Givens grew up in Garland, TX where she started dancing at the age of 3. Taylor attended Sachse High School from 2013-2017 where she was a JV officer and a sergeant on the Sachse Swingsters.
After high school, she attended Tarleton State University where she earned a Bachelor’s in Exercise and Sports Science and a Master’s in Sports Administration. While at Tarleton, Taylor was a 4-year member of the Texan Stars Dance Team. In the spring of 2018, the Texan Stars competed at the NDA Collegiate Nationals where they placed 1st in the D2 category. Taylor had the privilege of being the captain of the dance team from fall 2018 to spring 2021.
After graduating undergrad, Taylor was hired as the Graduate Assistant for the dance team from fall 2021 to spring 2022. In the fall of 2023, she accepted the assistant director position at Cedar Hill High School. While at Cedar Hill, her JV team placed 1st in category during competition season.
Taylor has been choreographing, judging, and administering solo training around the DFW for 5+ years. Taylor’s favorite genres to dance herself and choreograph include pom and hip hop. Taylor is so eager and grateful for this new opportunity and cannot wait to kick off this fantastic year!!
