"I am so thrilled to be the Golden Debs Director and Dance 1-4 Teacher! I am beyond grateful for this wonderful opportunity and I can't wait to start the year off with the 2025-2026 Golden Debs! Once a Deb, always a Deb!"

Mrs. Robinson found her passion for dance at the age of three. She danced for the XD2 company for 11 years. Coach Robinson attended Sachse High School and became the captain of the JV Lariats Drill her freshman year and captain of the Sachse Swingsters her Senior year.

She joined American Dance/Drill team after graduating in 2013, instructing Summer Dance Camps and judging at Competitions. She continued her education at Kilgore College and became a member of the 74th Line of the World Famous Kilgore College Rangerettes from 2013-2015.

After Kilgore College, Mrs. Robinson transferred to Stephen F Austin State University and performed on the SFA Dance team from 2015-2017. She graduated from Stephen F Austin in 2018, Magna Cum Laude, with a Bachelors in Dance Education and a minor in Family/Child Development.

In order to continue sharing her love and passion for dance, she became a dance instructor and company choreographer at Rockwall Dance Academy. In addition, she worked at Rowlett high school for 3 years teaching Dance 1-4 and coached the Rhythmettes Drill Team.

Aside from dance, she is happily married to Troy Robinson and they love spending time with their 2 Australian Sheppards Harley and Halo! This summer, Coach Robinson welcomed her first baby boy named Remi into the world.

Assistant Director: Kaitlyn Norrell

Kaitlyn Norrell has been in love with dance since she was in middle school and has
been pursuing a career in it ever since. In high school, she was a member of the
Marcus Marquettes and discovered her true passion, drill team.

With a strong connection to Drill Team, she chose to attend Kilgore College where she
was a Rangerette from 2018-2020 and earned her Associates of Arts Degree in Dance.
After Kilgore, Kaitlyn attended the University of North Texas where she earned a
Bachelor’s Degree in Dance along with a Secondary Teaching Certification.

During her two years as a Rangerette, she got to perform and travel to many places
including New York for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade, Italy, and England for the
Birmingham Tattoo. While at UNT, she performed in several performances including the
New Choreographers Concert and the Faculty Dance Concert and choreographed her
own work as well.

Kaitlyn began teaching within the studio atmosphere in 2020 and has a couple of years
of experience teaching a wide range of styles for recreational and competitive dance.
She also for the past year has been a substitute teacher for both Grapevine-Colleyville
ISD and Prosper ISD. Most recently, Kaitlyn had the wonderful opportunity to be a
Dance Clinician for Allen High Schools Dance Department, where she worked with the
Dance 1 students as well as choreographed their dance that was a part of the Tallenette
Spring Show.

Kaitlyn aspires to encourage students to achieve their full potential and provide them
with a supportive dance education where they can freely express themselves. She is
passionate about instilling a love of dance in all ages and is super excited to become a
part Royse City High School and the Golden Debs organization.
